Take a cab from the Habachtal parking lot to Gasthof Alpenrose. There is a mine nearby where you can find a wide variety of minerals, especially emeralds. At 2 p.m. you will then hike back to the starting point together with the hiking guide along the “Smaragdweg” educational trail. If you wish, you can take the Smaragdexpress back down the valley.

Tip: Bring rubber boots or sturdy hiking boots! Change of clothes for children
