CLIMBINGTRAILS

The via ferratas in Zell am Ziller and Gerlos are further opportunities to bring nature-loving, active people of all ages closer to the beautiful Zillertal mountains. With the right equipment and correct handling, climbing a via ferrata is possible for everyone: secured by a continuous steel cable from the entrance to the exit, you climb through the steep rock face using artificial handholds and stirrups combined with natural handholds.

Talbach via ferrata right next to the Talbach waterfall!
The via ferrata is constructed in such a way that you can gradually increase your level. The easy entry area is ideal for beginners and children. After each increase in difficulty, there is an emergency exit to the route. The main section appeals to advanced via ferrata climbers. The highlight is certainly the two very long rope bridges, the last of which ends directly above the outflow of the water reservoir - in spring or when there is a lot of rainfall there is a thundering waterfall. Via ferrata sets can be hired directly at the entrance
